VOTE! In the AUGUST 9th Primary and Special Election!
Brothers and Sisters,
We have an important election approaching next week on August 9th.
You have an opportunity to vote in both the primary and a special election for MN Congressional District 1.
What’s on my ballot?
The front side has partisan primary races, this is where you vote by party preference for your candidate to be on the November 8th General Election ballot. The back of the ballot will have local nonpartisan races for mayor, city council, school board, etc.
Also on the back of the ballot is the Special Election for US Representative MN District 1. This is to fill out the remaining term of the late Jim Hagedorn, who passed away in February. Members living in Goodhue and Wabasha Counties will not have this election on their ballot as this reflects the old Congressional District 1 boundaries.
IBEW Local 343 COPE Committee and the IBEW State Council have endorsed Jeff Ettinger for both the primary and special election for US Representative, MN District 1. We ask you to consider voting for him as we feel he is the best choice for these positions.
