Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We are continuing to learn how to best implement our online code update classes, and one of the big concerns we’ve encountered pertains specifically to our Iowa license holders.  The concern specifically is Iowa requiring 18 hours as opposed to the 16 hours required for everyone else.

I’ve had some discussions with Cari about this, and her feeling is the best way to cover everyone at this point is to have our Iowa license holders that want to attend online classes hit one of our mid-week sessions.  For those two-week evening sessions, we will then hold a two-hour “Iowa Booster” session on the Monday evening of the second week of class.

It is an extra night to be online, but at this point we feel like this is the best way to satisfy all of the requirements necessary for your credits, and maintain our ability to continue to offer credit for Iowa.  As we continue to develop this new format, we will continue to try to find the best way to streamline the process and develop the best way possible for everyone to meet their CEU requirements.

Sincerely,

Michael Bambrick, Jr.
